Dinamo Zagreb vow to go out in style

Sammir evades a challenge from Porto midfielder João Moutinho

Ante Čačić, Dinamo coach
It's difficult to be positive after losing 3-0, but I genuinely believe this was our best game in this season's Champions League group stage. Although we lost, we played very well for the first 70 minutes, had several chances to score, but we just couldn't do it.

Porto are a better team, that's obvious, and they showed it tonight. They punished our mistakes and weaknesses. But we looked like a team – we were strong at the back and dangerous in attack. If we had converted one of our chances I'm sure it would have been a different story.

Sammir had a great chance, the first of the match, but hit a post. Just a few centimetres to the right and it would have been a goal. Later Porto also cleared the ball off the line, so we had our chances.

We are growing match by match and I hope we will make a better impression in the last group game. I hope we can do something special in that farewell match in Zagreb against Dynamo Kyiv.

Vítor Pereira, Porto coach
It was a good game. We were steady and picked up in the second half, playing with more aggression and making good transitions. That said, I also enjoyed our first-half performance. We are on 13 points and our goal is to finish first, reflecting our quality. The team have shown a very thoughtful, professional approach, and I must congratulate the players. This was a fair result in the end.
