Holders Olympique Lyonnais will face FC Malmö in one of two Franco-Swedish UEFA Women's Champions League quarter-final ties in March – and the winners of each will be matched in the last four.

Lyon, aiming for a record third straight triumph in the Stamford Bridge final, will be at home in the first leg against Malmö, recently deposed as Swedish champions and aiming to improve on last season when 1. FFC Frankfurt beat them in the quarter-finals.

Meanwhile two sides who have lost their only previous last-eight ties, FCF Juvisy Essonne and Göteborg FC, are paired with each potentially facing compatriots in the April semi-finals, also drawn today.

Arsenal LFC, the only previous winners still in the competition other than Lyon, continue their bid to reach the 23 May showpiece in their own city against ASD Torres CF, who they knocked out in the 2004/05 quarter-finals 4-3 on aggregate after losing the first leg 2-0, though this time the Gunners are at home first.

In the remaining tie VfL Wolfsburg, hoping to emulate fellow German sides Frankfurt, 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam and FCR 2001 Duisburg by winning the European title at their first attempt, face FC Rossiyanka, beaten in their previous two quarter-finals of 2007/08 and 2011/12 by Frauen-Bundesliga opposition.

FCF Juvisy Essonne (FRA) v Göteborg FC (SWE)
Olympique Lyonnais (FRA, holders) v FC Malmö (SWE)
Arsenal LFC (ENG) v ASD Torres CF (ITA)

Semi-finals: 13/14 & 20/21 April

Lyon/Malmö v Juvisy/Göteborg

Final (Stamford Bridge): 23 May
